Did Agnes Deyn Try too hard?
One word: Agyness Deyn. I really do like her and I have no objections about her taste in clothing, boys, fashion whatever. It just so happens that I came across this image of Aggy and I stared at it for about a minute just trying to figure out whether or not she was making a fashion statement in that Parisian Chic slash Tuxedo trend ensemble and the effect which she hoped her outfit would demand from others. I still don't know the answer but instead of the look being effortlessly chic and relaxed cool, does it look as if she tried a tad too hard this time? Let me know what you think.

xx LisaGet the Party Vibe: Sequins!
I am loving anything with sequins at the moment. A clothing article or accesory which will dazzle and shine guarentees that you will stand out from the crowd. I'm loving that Herve Leger sequinned bandage dress and the Miu Miu sequin cropped jacket...perfect for that true party glamour. And with Christmas, New Years and Fashion Week coming up, sequins are definitely something worth investing in.

Chic Corporate looks.
Honestly, the only reason I'd want to be a professional is so that I can dress in a chic tailored corporate style. Think layering, neutral shades, sharp tailoring and juxtaposition. All these delicious styling along with the perfect heels and jewellery can create the perfect look. It really is enough to make anyone want to work in an office...seriously.

New York Fashion Week 2009.
At this point in time, there is literally so much going on. From launch parties, Christmas luncheons, birthdays and unsuspecting shopping trips; the list really is quite full. Added to this list is New York Fashion Week 2009.
Sounds strange, but I've already started to make up a "to-buy" list for Fashion Week even though it is in February next year. It's crazy but true. Sometimes I get a lot of pleasure from little things like these which make me feel a lot more organised even though I might not be. The one thing which sort of disturbs me about this is the weather.
Apparently it snows and snows and snows and is absolutely freezing. I don't know about you but I tend to look my best when its a lazy summer day, lying on a hammock with Boho hair and a strapless vintage Temperley London number, not to mention barefoot, so as you can imagine New York Fashion Week will require my styling to be up to scratch. I found a few pictures of some inspirations from previous Fashion Weeks courtesy of Jak and Jil.

Any New Yorkers out there with some advice?

Dior Figurine Heels.
You've probably seen the Chanel Gun Heels courtesy of Madonna, but did you know about the Christian Dior Figurine heels which were strutting on the runways of Spring 2009? Here they are just for show...not as scandalous but not as interesting as Madonna's fashion statement heels, don't you think?

I just bought: A Herve Leger Strapless Bandage Dress.
The dress cost a lot, fits like a glove and is probably the next best thing since Chanel red lipstick.
