So hot right now: Erin Wasson in Ripped denim.

We really love this look. The whole combination with the chic tailored tuxedo jacket, sheer oversized tank and shredded denim. It's sophisticated, edgy, chic and Erin Wasson. What else could be more fabulous?

Vogue UK: Chanel brings back glitter.

From this shoot, all we can say is we heart glitter make up. Not that we'd be caught dead wearing it anytime but for a photo shoot, it's darn interesting to look at.

Pre-Fall Review: Carolina Herrera.

Statements were made through both the ladylike accents of the pieces especially when accompanied with a statement bearing bright yet chic powder blue, charcoal black and intense ivory print combination on the most classic of all styles in Carolina Herrera's Pre-Fall collection. Satin pussy bow blouses were matched up with tailored below the knee pencil skirts to create the feminine illusion before the look was completed with a statement tailored jacket which hung delicately on the model's frame, enabling the style to be understated, effortless, sophisticated and ladylike just like the designer.

Classic wardrobe pieces were vamped up through the introduction of statement print and colour combination which exerted a sense of freshness and renewal to the feminine looks. Contrast and juxtaposition were featured as technical devices which enabled emphasis to be created on particular pieces on an entire look as opposed to the look as a whole, being the main focus. However on a completely different note, this collection would exist to make the most feminine and classic women proud yet if there is anyone I would want to personally see wearing this collection, it would have to be the modern day First Lady: Michelle Obama rocking the look.

Pre-Fall Review: Vera Wang.

Effortless simplicity and classic romanticsm were themes explored by Vera Wang in the Pre-Fall collection which consisted of muted silk pieces featuring contrasting bow features, exquisite yet basic embellishment, fitted pieces comprised mainly of drappery techniques to create an elegant illusion and slight texture as well as basic accesory pieces to reinstate the romantic feel of the looks.

Classic tones and shades were explored through the contrast of pale neutral tones with deep charcoal black tones for that efforless sophistication which oozes romance and elegance which truly epitomised the designer herself, Vera Wang. Simple tank tops and tailored quarter length pants were accompanied with detailed cardigans and silk tops to create a uniquely effortless sense of elegance and a feel of feminine nonchalance. It was a collection which clearly epitomised the feminity of the traditional Vera Wang bridal label which oozes romance and simplicity to create something which is beyond words of complexity.

Pre-Fall Review: Badgley Mischka.

Garments featuring chic tailoring, smooth fittings highlighting the female form as well as the signature neutral embellishments in rich tones of golds, imperial purples, moss greens, charcoal black and rich burgandy made up the pre-Fall Badgley Mischka collection. Ruffle and textured features cascaded down the luxurious silks and satins evident in the floor length dresses allowing the figure to be feminine but sleek. Balance was created through the luxurious yet subtle use of beading, paillette, and feather-dusted in the cocktail dresses and gowns which technique was calmed down through the feature of smooth ruffles which created character to the pieces and the overall look nicely.

The concept of waistlines was played with by the designers allowing an alternative view on the traditional high waisted and asymmetrical waistlines on the pieces which created many different illusions which have potential for any future ready to wear trends. Overall this collection was luxuriously subtle allowing maximum emphasis to be evident on the more simple styles in this collection as opposed to the more ostentatious pieces which were quite a no-show, for the right reasons as this collection reinstated.
