YSL Sale: www.ysl.com/us

I am in heaven. I went to department store Myer today (an less impressive, Australian alternative to an American Bergdorf Goodman) in the city and found the perfect pair of Emilio Pucci flats reduced from $700 to $400. They were made of nappa leather and featured the iconic print and as I seriously needed a new pair of flats, I thought they were a good choice to come back to for the summery season whether it be with a plain cotton dress or a pair of fitted jeans. I just paid off the credit card and the last thing I need is more debt! However, just browsing online, I want to let you all know that Yves Saint Laurent is having a sale. You can get the patent high heel sandal with feathers for only $499 reduced from $995. Talk about a good deal. It's couture for the feet and with the festive season only a footstep away, it's about time you bought yourself something as beautiful as YSL heels on sale. xx Lisa

Burberry Spring 2009 Ad Campaign.

It's fun, fresh and fabulous. We heart it. Burberry never looked so desireably environmentally friendly.

Same same but different: Marc Jacobs vs. Chloe.

Last season's Marc by Marc Jacobs dress (left) vs. current season Chloe dress (right). Love it or hate it?

Guess the shoe.

All you have to do is check out the Steve Madden shoe on the left hand side and tell us which designer it is obviously 'inspired' by. Email us at theiconicfashionblog@yahoo.com with your full name, the answers to all of them for a chance to win a designer surprise pack. Good luck!

Tis the season to be jolly: Jessica Alba.

Definitely NOT her best look. The hair, the shoes, the dress. She's the Christmas present we've always wanted but as a style icon, she has really disappointed. Any thoughts on the issue? We thought so. Next!

It's the midas touch...diluted.

How gorgeous is this outfit combination consisting of a Thread Social sweater dress and a pair of Maloles? It's the perfect Spring time preppy chic with elements of class and a touch of Blair Waldorf combined with the casual chic-ness of Serena Van Der Woodsen which captures that perfect balance of sophistication and chic, not to mention- television worthy, flair and effortless style. You know you love me. xoxo Gossip Girl. PS: I'm so over headbands with bows on them. Get a Prada silk head wrap slash (which looks like a more short cut version of Andre Leon Talley's interpretation of a turban) instead. Cheers!
